Friends With Benefits movie review

Movie Info: Dylan (Justin Timberlake) and Jamie (Mila Kunis) think it’s going to be easy to add the simple act of sex to their friendship, despite what Hollywood romantic comedies would have them believe. They soon discover however that getting physical really does always lead to complications.

Cast: With Mila Kunis, Justin Timberlake, Patricia Clarkson, Jenna Elfman, Bryan Greenberg, Woody Harrelson and Richard Jenkins.

Friends With Benefits was a great romantic comedy and one of the best in years. It was way better than I expected and worth a watch. If you are worried that you saw No Strings Attached and your gonna waste your time watching the same movie. Be open minded, yes it may have the same exact premise of sex and staying friends but Friends with Benefits is more fresh, and more of a enjoyable watch with more jokes and a better supporting cast.

Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis led the movie with great comedic performances as well as having great chemistry which is enjoyable to watch and helps the movie in a huge way adding to the fun. Woody Harrelson was hilarious throughout the whole movie. Emma Stone was just as funny for the only scene she was in. Shaun White made a cameo in the movie and was beyond funny. The whole cast made the movie succeed it what the movie was.

One of the funniest parts of the movie in my opinion is when Justin Timberlake’s character talks about how he sneezes when he’s finished putting in work and 1 minute later there it is. Another thing I liked about the movie was the way they talked about how movies create this formula for expecting things that will happen but never do, and yet it embraces that and changes it around a little.

Funny Quotes:

Kayla(Emma Stone): “We missed ‘Your Body is a Wonderland.’”
Dylan: “Okay only one song - that’s not so bad right?”
Kayla: “It was fucking ‘Your Body is a Wonderland!’ Next time, instead of being late, just sh*t on my face. Because that’s kind of the same thing as missing ‘Your Body is a Wonderland’

Lorna: “So my daughter is just your slam piece?”
Dylan: “No, uh.”
Lorna: “Just kidding - slam away!”

Friends With Benefits was a Charming, Clever, funny, fast paced, great romantic comedy definitely worth seeing.
